Number Plate Material are a wholesaler for high quality number plate components. They approached Arren Marketing to help digitise their service, as it was previously being done through telephone calls and notepads.
High quality imagery for high quality products
We were involved with NPM from the off. That meant brainstorming with the team on the branding and aesthetic look of the business. This resulted in our in-house photographer organising a photoshoot that covered both lifestyle and product photography. The shoots included art direction on how the products should be showcased in a way that would be unique to the brand.
Black and yellow
Following on from the photoshoot, we set about creating a distinctive aesthetic that was both modern and stood out from the crowd. Using a colour scheme borrowed from real life number plates, we went about creating a design that featured black, white and yellow colours throughout – and create a familiarity with those who work in the number plate manufacturing industry.
With this being an e-commerce website, all usual e-commerce functionality was developed for the site – including Stripe payment provider integration, member registration/login, previous orders saved in dashboard, emails with purchase details and more. Some of the unique e-commerce functionality includes dynamic pricing (with reduced rates for multiple purchases), dynamic shipping (calculated based on weights of individual items) and pricing only viewable to registered users.
